The Managing Partner of Redbrick Law Firm, Nurzhan Dairbekov, delivered a presentation at the Kazakhstan Legal Forum 2025 in the session titled “AI under Law: When Neural Networks Enter the Legal Framework,” dedicated to the legal aspects of artificial intelligence and technological development.

The discussion focused on assessing the impact of the future implementation of AI in the judiciary, legal practice, and legislation. A growing interest among legal professionals in regulatory issues, ethics, and trends in the development of neural networks was noted.

At the national level and within the framework of the largest IT forums, Kazakhstan’s ambitious plans for the development of artificial intelligence were announced, which makes the involvement of legal professionals in monitoring and adapting national legislation to new realities particularly important. This will enable targeted and accurate legal advice for both foreign and local owners and operators of AI, who will be required to align their activities with the provisions of the draft Law “On Artificial Intelligence.”

It should be noted that this draft law has been adopted by the Mazhilis and submitted to the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan for consideration and has not yet entered into force.
